A speedy trike with two front wheels and a single oversized wheel at the back. The Quilbagg seats two: A driver at the front and a gunner on the backseat. It is often characterized as a “cockpit on wheels” because it seats its crew as if they were on a jetfigher.
Named after its primary weapon: Quil rockets. The rockets are hidden in “sleeves” at the back when operating as a transportation vehicle. When the Quilbagg is armed, the quil rockets emerge, ready to be fired individually or in a volley.
Just like expug’s ram their adversaries with IBEXO suits, so are Quilbaggs built to ram, flip or wedge opposing vehicles. They are simpler and smaller than a ranrec Arcto. The technological choice to go with wheels instead of hover and truster technology might seem strange, but the oversized back wheel brings unbeatable traction which is key when ramming, flipping and wedging an enemy. All factors mean Quilbaggs are cheaper to build than Arctos. For this reason they can outnumber Arctos in a given conflict zone. They are always deployed as a pack – never fewer than two often 3 or 4.
